Radiation oncologist benchmarking from 5K race?
From all my years of attending ASTRO, I have empirically decided radiation oncologists are one of the most healthy subgroups of people. Every year I see physicians and oncology industry personnel running before the morning meetings. How great would it be to have a 5K race during ASTRO? How great would it be to raise funds for the Radiation Oncology institute at the same time? Here is the challenge – If a radiation oncologist, resident or employee serving radiation oncology can outrun RBS employee, John Ramsay, and win the 5K, RBS donates $5,000 in their name to ROI. Do you think oncologists are competive enough to take up the challenge in a 5K?
